Shri Radha Raman Ji

Shri Radharaman Ji appeared in the samvat 1591. The temple was built in samwat 1645. Nearby is Samadhi of Shri Gopal Bhatt Ji who established the temple and service of Shri Radharaman Ji.

History:

At the age of thirty, Gopala Bhatta Gosvami came to Vrindavana. After Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s disappearance, Gopala Bhatta Gosvami felt intense separation from the Lord. The Lord instructed Gopala Bhatta in a dream “If you want my darshan then make a trip to Nepal”. In Nepal, Gopala Bhatta bathed in the famous Kali-Gandaki River. Upon dipping his waterpot in the river, he was surprised to see several Shaligrama shilas enter his pot. This is how he found the Shaligram. A very interesting incident regarding his appearance is famous. Shri Gopal Bhatt Ji Maharaj was doing the service of Shri Shaligram Ji with all sincerity. Once Shri Gopal Bhatt Ji felt the strong desire that “If the feet, hand and other parts of my Shaligram Ji could be seen, then even I could bedeck him with ornaments.” This is the Glory of Thakur Ji, as in Gita he says “Yei Yathamam Prapadyantei Tamsthaiv Bhajamyaham” (Whoever desirous of resorting to me, in whatever manner they think of me according to their inclinations, I favor them in the same manner). This is what happened. Shri Shaligram Ji showed his leela. Next day when Shri Gopal Bhatt Ji went for the daily service he had the darshan of the feet, hands, and face. There was no end to the Joy of Shri Gopal Bhatt Ji.

Visiting Vrindavan was a life-changing experience for me. The town is a treasure trove of ancient temples and sacred sites associated with Lord Krishna. I was in awe as I explored the famous Banke Bihari Temple, where devotees gather to catch a glimpse of the deity. The Radha Raman Temple was equally captivating, with its exquisite architecture and soothing chants.

My visit to Vrindavan was an enchanting and spiritual experience. The town is steeped in Hindu mythology and is considered one of the holiest places in India. As I walked through the narrow lanes, I could feel a sense of serenity and devotion in the air. The temples were magnificent, adorned with intricate carvings and vibrant colors. Witnessing the evening aarti (prayer ceremony) on the banks of the Yamuna River was truly mesmerizing.

Vrindavan is a hidden gem that transports you to a different world altogether. From the moment I entered the town, I was surrounded by the divine aura and the rhythmic chants of 'Hare Krishna.' The temples were stunning, each with its own unique charm. The ISKCON temple, in particular, left me awe-struck with its grandeur and the melodious kirtans (devotional songs) that filled the air
